Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy

Shipping

 

We ship products across New Zealand using trusted freight and courier providers. We provide same day product dispatch, and a shipping time frame of 2-4 working days.

Heavy, bulky and dangerous items (batteries etc.) are shipped via Chemcouriers or Mainfreight and may be required to be picked up from the nearest delivery depot. 

 

We offer free shipping on all Victron products. All other shipping costs are calculated at checkout or provided upon enquiry, depending on the product and delivery location.

Stock & Dispatch Timeframes
Victron Energy Products

All Victron products are supplied via the authorized New Zealand distributor, AEP Pacific.
We do not hold Victron products in stock.

Victron products are:

  • Dispatched by AEP Pacific the same day the order is placed

  • Delivered within 2–4 working days

Solar Panels

We do not keep solar panels in stock due to storage and handling requirements.

Solar panels can be:

  • Shipped directly to you, or your nearest Mainfreight depot with in 2-4 business days.

  • Picked up from our warehouse within 2–4 working days

PowerPod Systems (Custom Built)


All PowerPods are built to order based on your requirements.

Build time: 2–4 working days

Delivery options:

  • Shipped to your nearest Mainfreight depot within 2-4 business days. or

  • Pickup by appointment

All Other Store Products


All other items in our store are stocked by us and shipped the same day your order is placed.

Rural & Special Delivery Areas

 

Some items, particularly lithium battery products, cannot be delivered to rural addresses due to courier restrictions.

  • If a rural address is provided, delivery may be arranged to the nearest freight depot.

  • We will contact you to organise a suitable delivery option if required.

 

We currently do not deliver directly to:

  • Stewart Island

  • Great Barrier Island

  • Chatham Islands

 

However, we can arrange delivery to a mainland depot or a freight forwarder of your choice.

 

International Shipping

 

For international orders (including Pacific Islands), we can deliver to a freight forwarder arranged by the customer. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm details.

 

Click & Collect

 

Pickup is available by appointment. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time and location.

Returns

 

We accept returns in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

 

Change of Mind

 

If you wish to return an item due to a change of mind:

  • Requests must be made within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging

  • A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply

 

No restocking fee will apply if you are exchanging for another product.

Shipping and payment processing fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

 

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

 

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item is:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

 

Contact us within 14 days of delivery, and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund where required.

Returns must be approved before being sent. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

 

Non-Returnable Items

 

We may not accept returns for:

  • Used or installed items

  • Items not in original condition or packaging

  • Clearance or final sale items (unless faulty)

 

Refunds

 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome within 7 days.

If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

Warranty

 

All products are covered by applicable manufacturer warranties and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

 

Warranty periods vary by product and are outlined on individual product pages.

 

Victron Products (AEP Pacific)

All Victron Energy products sold by PowerPod are supported by the authorised New Zealand distributor, AEP Pacific.

 

Warranty, returns, and support for these products are governed in accordance with

 

AEP Pacific’s official policies.

For warranty claims relating to Victron products:

  • A warranty claim form must be completed as part of the assessment process

Warranty Claims

 

If you believe your product is faulty:

  • Contact us with details of the issue

  • We will assess and arrange repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate

 

Customers may be required to return items for assessment. Return shipping costs may apply unless covered under consumer law. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved then a refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card, or original method of payment, within 7 business days.

 

Uncollected Orders

 

Orders not collected within 90 days may be cancelled or forfeited, unless prior arrangements have been made.
